OUR HISTORY
In the late 1940’s an American Sunday School Union (ASSU) Bible Camp ministry began on what was then known as the “Bellingham Field” in Northwest Washington State. Through the ministry of Nooksack Bible Camp the Gospel was brought to young people throughout rural communities all across the Northwest. Since those early days the Bible Camp has been an integral ministry of ASSU (now InFaith) in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties. In 1987-1988 the ministry was moved from the Nooksack area and began to lease various facilities in Western and Central Washington. In the 1990’s the name “Camp Living Word” was adopted. Since 2012 the Bible Camp has met at the W-Bar-B Ranch at Warm Beach Christian Camp in Stanwood. Throughout the decades, the Camp has sought to keep the Lord Jesus Christ at the center of its ministry and continues today consistent with its founding purpose of being a “Bible Camp”. Pray for us as we press on in bringing the glorious Gospel to young people all across the Pacific Northwest.
